Between Notes

Before I knew how to name what I felt, I listened. Music became a place to breathe, to survive, to tell the truth without being overwhelmed by it. Over time, it grounded me, connected me to others, and kept me accountable to myself in ways nothing else ever could. Sound has regulated my nervous system, given form to feeling, and offered connection when words were not enough. This practice honors music as a living relationship. One that steadies the body, opens the heart, and reminds me that connection is still possible.

These reflections live between notes.
