The Philosophy:
I believe growth begins with curiosity, not correction. The work is less about becoming someone new and more about understanding what has shaped you, what still fits, what no longer does, and what becomes possible when you learn to trust yourself more fully.
Meet Liz:
I am Liz Hiney, a Human Connection & Intimacy Educator, writer, facilitator, and the founder of LuvaHiney and The Kairos Collective.
My work is grounded in Human Services and Marriage & Family studies, with an academic focus in psychology and additional certification in relationship coaching. I am especially interested in the psychology beneath human connection: how identity, communication, emotional regulation, self-trust, attachment, desire, intimacy, and lived experience influence the relationships we create with ourselves and with one another.
I combine psychological and relational concepts with embodied awareness, education, curiosity, and honest conversation. Rather than treating people as problems to be fixed, I help them notice patterns, understand what has shaped them, strengthen their voice, and make more intentional choices about how they connect.
Through LuvaHiney, that work takes many forms, including individual and relationship-focused education, coaching, sexuality and intimacy conversations, facilitated experiences, writing, and speaking.
The Kairos Collective
For those who want to be part of the work.
The Kairos Collective is an evolving space for people who want to explore these ideas alongside me rather than simply observe from the outside.
It is built around curiosity, conversation, self-awareness, human connection, and the belief that some of the most meaningful growth happens when we are given room to question what we know, notice what is changing, and learn from perspectives beyond our own.
This is where the work becomes collective: through shared exploration, participation, conversation, and the experiences we bring into the room with us.
