Day 106: A Patient Rhythm
After writing and publishing last night’s entry, I ended up getting invited into a couple of live spaces and decided to venture in instead of going to bed. I was feeling low-vibe and not especially social, so I was perfectly fine just sitting as a listener. Still, it felt nice to be invited, nice to know people wanted me around. That always feels good.
I listened for a bit, but then I felt that same pull to zone back into myself. My music. My own space. Away from the same repetitive noise. The spaces I had been enjoying were not so crowded before, and now, for whatever reason, everyone is there…
Quiet Part Day 106: Part of discernment is knowing when to stay open without overextending, when to remain present without overinvesting, and when to let time prove what words never really could. Real things have a rhythm of their own, and what is meant to matter usually knows how to keep showing up.
