Day 93: The Ones Who See

The heaviness of yesterday did carry over somewhat, but another run out to pick up a few things for Easter, the warm weather, the music up, the windows down, and my son in the backseat laughing and singing with me… it was pure gold. The kind of moment you wish you could place inside one of those snow globes, and revisit whenever you wanted… and that’s the beauty of life. That is what it is all about. Finding those moments that seem small but really mean so much in the grand scheme of things…

Quiet Part Day 93: Being understood without having to brace for mockery is still a strangely emotional thing for me. It reminds me that I’m not imagining the difference between those who look and those who actually know how to see. Maybe that is why kindness, when it is real, lands so deeply.
